Rubens Gallery, Ringling Museum - Nikon D40 with 55mm lens
Oh how I love an art museum. The wood, the art, the quiet, the cool - did I mention the art? This is the Peter Paul Ruebens gallery at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, FL. Those paintings on the wall are gigantic. And 500 years old. How does something that large survive that long? I really can't wrap my head around it.

WOW! I love museums, art museums in particular, but I love history in general. Isn't the floor a work of art in itself?
xox, Lisa
Oh Lisa, you would love this museum. It's simply stunning, the building, the garden and the art on the walls. I try to go to a museum in every city I visit, and have been to several, but the Ringling is still my favorite.
Whoa, 500 years old !!! Can't believable.
